Welcome Jan,
Its been a bit quiet around here recently with little talk about what we are all doing, so here's my latest (even if its not very exiting!).

I've finally managed to get hold of a pair of JBL 2405 tweeters which should turn up sometime next week - until now every time I saw a nice set on Ebay I was outbid!

So I'm looking forward to putting those in place and getting rid of the old slot tweeters, apart from that I rearranged the crossovers a few weeks ago and by improving the layout and changing to my preferred silver wiring throughout I've managed to pregress the sound quite a bit.

There are a few other changes in the rest of the system coming fairly soon (new pre amp etc) which should also help things get to the next level.

This summer I hope to finally get around to building a box to enclose the mid horns so that I can damp them more effectively, and I will also need to build some kind of tweeter supports too now!

Regarding other Vitavox matters, I've managed to pick up another couple of microphones to add to my small collection, which I hope to detail on the site in the near future.

Btw I'm still very keen to hear from any Vitavox owners that would be interested in letting me include their system/collection on the owners page of the website - don't be shy, a paragraph or two of text is all that's needed, and maybe a picture or two!

At the moment I am thinking about
how to best reproduce the frequency
area from say 80 to 1000 Hz , the most
difficult to get right IMHO .

Hi all

At the moment I'm using open baffle from
650Hz and down, but are thinking about
making another horn to cover from there
and down to 80Hz or so. We'll see .
There's no hurry [img]smile.gif[/img]
